Bethany Bible College is a theological institution of the Assemblies of God Malayalam District Council. that was established in Tiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It was started with a vision of training  people for different Christian Ministries. 

The College was started in 1993, as a small school to give basic Bible training in Malayalam language to pioneer workers mainly for the Tiruvananthapuram District. As the body grew, in 2004, the Assemblies of God Malayalam District Council started an English Medium Bible College offering B. Th at Palottuvila, Tiruvananthapuram. In 2005, with the approval of the Presbytery of Malayalam District, Malayalam medium joined with the English medium and its scope was extended to different ministries.

This is only a beginning of a great vision to see a theological college offering higher education which maintains high academic and spiritual standards. This is a school to produce “Servants of God” and not professionals, giving prime importance towards the evangelism of India. 

This Bible College is associated with Assemblies of God Church - Malayalam District Council and is governed by a Board of Directors as stipulated in the Constitution and By Laws of the Malayalam District Council of the Assemblies of God. While this Board functions as the supreme body that decides on major policies, appointments and discipline of Bible College including Bethany Institute of Theology, the Administrative Committee oversees the establishment and running of BIT under the supervision of the Principal and faculty of Bethany Bible College. However, we invite applicants from all denominations.
